Karl Lagerfeld For Shu Uemura Makeup Is Coming This Fall

Karl Lagerfeld has been using Shu Uemura makeup for over 20 years—just not in the way you might think. Aside from his main gig at Chanel, the designer is also known for his illustrations, which often grace the fashion house’s invitations and press kits. Those illustrations are always created with Shu Uemura makeup. He told WWD he uses the brand’s products “because other manufacturers do not offer such beautiful colors.”
